Cameron Trading Post

We left Utah around 24 October and headed to one of the wonders of the world - the Grand Canyon. (Locals omit the 'the' apparently). Our first glimpse (well, Katy's first, I visited Grand Canyon 7 years ago) was of the suspension bridge by Cameron Trading post.

Of course, given Katy's surname, we had to stop here! My memories of Navajo fry bread also made stopping here a must, but I didn't remember how impressive the art in the dining room is. Here are a few photos

Love that little truck under it!

Of course, Katy wanted the bear and I wanted the hummingbird vase. And I LOVED these!

And the highlight of the show:

I have SOOO many canyon photos to sort through that I'll have to leave that for another post. Vegas calls!

Love the rug with the birds on it. Although with the title of this post I did wonder what you'd traded Katy in for? :-)

What fun. How much loot have you collected now, or are you being very restrained? :)

The Grand Canyon is definitely on my list of "would like to see"! And that place makes it even more enticing!

The art is amazing, the food looks downright scary. No one can eat that much in one sitting! xx

Don't forget the part where it's not a car, it's literally a priceless, non-replaceable artifact. And it's just some dude you work with.
